On Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, the beloved Downtown Burbank Arts Festival will take place outdoors on four blocks of San Fernando Boulevard between Angeleno Avenue and Magnolia Boulevard. In partnership with West Coast Artists, this wonderful festival will be packed with street painters, special effects artists, and more than 100 painters, photographers and sculptors. The Downtown Burbank Arts Festival gives people of all ages the opportunity to get an up-close and personal look at some of the best artists in the world. It is also designed to bring in professional artists, as well as aspiring artists from Burbank schools, in order to support arts education. The festival showcases a myriad of art forms inducing painting, photography, sculpting, woodwork, street painting, jewelry, ceramics and more.
In addition to the “street artists,” the event will also include the Creative Talent Network with the CTN Road Trip, a showcase for top visual effects artists, illustrators, character designers, and storyboard artists from major animation studios such as The Walt Disney Company, Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, and Sony Pictures Animation.
